N. Charleston Mayoral Race Poll
Instant Runoff Voting
A new poll will launch each month. Get your vote in now!
North Charleston has a tough choice coming up: choosing its next mayor. With ten candidates on the ballot, the winner will be very unlikely to secure a majority of votes. That means that a majority of voters will have voted for someone else. There is a better way to vote: instant runoff voting
Instant runoff voting allows voters to rank their candidates. That ranking allows a series of instant runoffs to occur until a candidate breaches the 50% mark and a majority winner is found. Plus, by ranking your candidates, you eliminate vote splitting and spoiler candidates so you can vote the way you truly want instead of strategically.
Cast your vote today and rank your North Charleston Mayoral candidates in the order that you prefer them. You can rank as many as five.
