Better Ballot SC EventsWeekly Work Jam and Welcome: These free form Zoom sessions are all about getting work done. Roll up your sleeves to learn a new skill or contribute with what your best at. Wednesdays: February 2, February 9 Pitch Training: February 2, 9pm. Learn the ins and outs of canvassing from the pros! This training will enable you to skillfully canvass and educate South Carolinians about instant runoff voting. Not sure about canvassing? That's okay too. You can use these skills to talk to anyone about IRV. Canvassing at the Soda City Market: February 5 and February 19. They'll come for the food and shopping and we'll educate them about instant runoff voting. Join us for a good time talking to our fellow South Carolinians. Meeting and Trivia: February 17, 7pm, The Mellow Mushroom in Lexington. Join us for a low key Better Ballot Meeting at 7 followed by Mellow Mushroom hosted trivia at 7:30. A great meeting for first timers and BBSC veterans alike. Meet your local IRV supporters and hopefully win the trivia prize! Let's win this!

RCV Day / IRV Day
Mark your calendars for RCV Day, 1/23 (123, get it? We're so punny). This nationwide event is a brainchild of FairVote and RankTheVote to promote RCV/IRV that will run all weekend. There are two great events in South Carolina on Saturday January 22. The first is a canvass in Columbia at the Soda City Market. Join us to find new supporters and educate our fellow South Carolinians. Second, there will be a house party in North Charleston. Great for new and seasoned supporters alike. Learn more about IRV and meet fellow supporters. Plus, on the day itself, 1/23, we'll be posting all over social media to raise awareness. Join us by sharing graphics and information with your friends and family.

Work It WednesdayJoin us for the All Volunteers Jam Session. We'll meet via Zoom at 6pm and roll up our sleeves. These free form jams are all about learning and doing. Then we'll flex our knowledge of random facts at Trivia Night. We'll meet at Republic Biergarten in Columbia for a low key meeting and then try our hand at trivia.
Team Work ThursdayWe'll make instant runoff voting a reality in South Carolina if we work as a team. First we'll head to Florence's Timrod Park for a canvass. Then join us for the November Statewide Meeting. Join us in person at Beef O'Brady's in Columbia or via Zoom at 7pm.
Fast FridayCanvass with us at the Joe Riley Waterfront Park in Charleston as we talk to people about how fast instant runoff voting is.
Social SaturdayWe'll cap off our week of action by getting social at the Soda City Market Canvass. We'll be speaking to market goers about the benefits instant runoff voting. Nervous? Don't worry.
