At King Day at the Dome, we will honor Dr. King’s legacy by continuing the fight to expand democracy. Just as Dr. King worked to protect and strengthen the right to vote, Better Ballot SC is working to ensure our elections truly reflect the will of the people through Instant Runoff/Ranked Choice Voting. The work of building a more inclusive democracy continues.

King Day at the Dome begins at 8am at Zion Baptist Church in Columbia, but we will gather outside at 9:30am outside Zion Baptist and march to the Statehouse (1100 Gervais Street) with our Better Ballot SC banner. Once there, we will talk to people in the crowd about the benefits of instant runoff voting. 

We'll bring the clipboards and pens, you bring the enthusiasm and smiles. Scripts will be provided.
